New York public housing bill for ex-inmates is under review A bill that would help formerly incarcerated citizens gain access to public housing in New York is being reviewed by Gov. Kathy Hochul after the legislature passed it earlier this year. "This measure will prevent these individuals from facing homelessness as many of them do, and ensure there is one less hurdle for them to reenter society successfully," state Sen.
