Our Spring Plenary Meeting has taken an unprecedented turn this year... Travel restrictions are admittedly preventing physical cross-border travels but we won't let this stop us from reuniting! Together with our local partner Dansearena nord, we are organising an exceptional online meeting to keep the IETM spirit living remotely. Pack your virtual suitcases and hop on our digital trip to Northern Norway! ©️ Tanja Kanazir |

IETM MAPPING: THE PERFORMING ARTS IN NORWAY |
|
Ahead of our online gathering, our latest mapping embraces the rich history of Norway and its independent performing arts scene. After discussing local changes in narratives and artistic practice, and examining structural issues and needed policy change, the mapping immerses you into the performing arts culture of Northern Norway and the Sàpmi region - against a backdrop of activism. Download it free of charge and read it on your way to our online reunion. |

WHERE DOES FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION REMAIN? - RECORDING |
|
Originally planned for our Plenary Meeting in Tromsø, our Where does freedom of speech remain? discussion took place online through an interactive webinar on 24 April. Together with four panelists from around the globe, we explored how the current global sanitary crisis has exposed pre-existing inequalities and anti-democratic systems that were operating before the outbreak. Watch or rewatch our webinar. |
