Expect a "copy & paste" forecast today...very similar to yesterday's hot & dry conditions. Sunny skies will allow temperatures to climb into the upper-90s in the afternoon with low humidity. There will be a gentle breeze from the east-southeast at 5 to 15 mph.

A piece of tropical energy in the Gulf of Mexico will move into South Central Texas throughout the work week, increasing the chance for scattered showers and storms, especially by Wednesday and Thursday. Coverage of storms will be spotty, but a few lucky locations could see up to 1 to 2 inches of rain by Friday.
