Once a rundown 1900s worker's cottage, the home now falls away from street level into voluminous spaces with refined design touches applied by the homeowners, who also happen to dually form Favell Architects. “We focused on how to retain and refurbish the character elements of the existing cottage, bringing it back to its former glory while also complementing the traditional portion with a modern extension,” they say. |
