Brexit propels AMC’s acquisition of Odeon & UCI
SHARE:
AMC Entertainment (NYSE: AMC) has agreed to acquire Odeon & UCI Cinemas from private equity investor Terra Firma in a transaction valued at £921 million. With the addition, AMC will become the largest movie-theater operator in the world, with a network of 627 theatres and more than 7,600 screens in eight countries.
