| Dear reader,
For many, this time of the year presents an opportunity to grow – with most of us resolving to become fitter, healthier and happier. The wellness timesuck starts innocently enough: setting a manageable daily step count, limiting your sugar intake, downloading a fitness app to help you stay on track. But with misinformation and pseudoscience about ageing and health rife on the internet, figuring out what will genuinely work can be a daunting task.
How much do we really know about what our body needs as we age? What habits will actually make a positive impact on our health? And how can we make the most of our fresh determination to form new habits that are genuinely healthy?
On Wednesday 12 February, I’ll be joining a panel of health and wellness experts, including Chris van Tulleken, the doctor and BBC broadcaster and author; and Nahid de Belgeonne, the somatic movement coach and yoga teacher, chaired by the Guardian’s Zoe Williams. We will demystify the pseudoscience and simplify the research to help you make smart choices in pursuit of good health. From exercises you can do in the office, to expert advice on brain health, we’ll share some healthy habits you can weave easily into your routine.
Join us at Conway Hall in London or globally via the livestream. Book your tickets by clicking the button below. |
