Employees want more tools to boost financial wellness Results of a Franklin Templeton survey indicate that American workers are reevaluating what they expect from their employers, especially regarding support for financial wellness. Sixty-two percent of respondents said they would like access to financial-planning tools, 56% said they wanted access to a financial adviser and 54% said they wanted to receive financial education. The metaverse could bring some interesting changes and opportunities to the workplace, according to today’s Technology story. Hiring for jobs that don’t currently exist. Collaborating with colleagues in a virtual office space. Conducting interviews via avatar. Getting notifications when a team member is drifting off during a meeting (actually, this one creeps me out a bit). The possibilities are intriguing. And a little scary.
