A new AI-powered platform, used by more than 2000 restaurants in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the US, is making real-time assessments on avocado and other foods and letting cafes owners know when to bump up the price or ditch the dish altogether, saving some as much as $8000 per week. Australian companies are demanding artificial intelligence start delivering a return on investment and delivering on its much-hyped productivity claims before they step up the adoption of the technology. More than 50,000 staff at Australia’s largest bank have just been given access to some of the most powerful artificial intelligence-powered tools in the region.
