Plus, look at what I used this spring… ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Hi Achternaam,

How has your week been?

These last several months, I’ve been working on getting several new articles and recipes posted for you. Many of these have been waiting in the background for a while now, but with the move and building our house, I haven’t had time to get them published…until now!

I’m sharing a few of those new additions in today’s email, along with other helpful resources, so let’s get started…

NEW Article: How to Can Butternut Squash

Canning butternut squash in the pressure canner is safe, as long as you can it in cubes and not mashed. Talk about handy to have on the shelf!

Easy Way to Plan Your Garden Timeline & More!

Earlier this year, I played around with this tool for planning out my garden year. Even if you just try the free version…it’s worth it. (See my actual starter plan in the image - free version!) But I can now say that the paid version is worth it too! Even if you’re getting a late start in the garden, you can still use this tool to calculate last-minute planting dates, and maybe even your fall garden dates too.

Check out Seedtime (garden planning app) here.

Must-Have: Apple Peeler-Corer-Slicer

There are a lot of things I do by hand in the kitchen, just because it’s easier or cheaper. But I cannot recommend this tool enough if you’re processing apples! It’s great for peeling, coring, and slicing your apples for pies, applesauce, and much more too.

Check out how my Apple Peeler-Corer-Slicer works here.

Don’t Miss the Canning Sale!

During my Summer Canning Sale, you can get a free book and 50% off the Complete Canning Bundle! But it all ends later tonight.

Check out the Canning Sale here.

NEW Recipe: Canning Onions with Honey & Wine

Learn how to can onions in a honey and wine sauce. Sweet and delicious, these turned out so yummy (and they smell good cooking too). This is similar to an onion jam, but a bit less sweet and maintains more texture of the onions. (It’s still soft!)

Get the recipe for Canning Onions w/Honey & Wine here.

Have a great day,
Sharon
