Sometimes, recipes don’t quite fit what you need, do they?

I spent many years in a household of growing sons (who ate a LOT, especially during growth spurts). I canned a lot of larger batches and quart jars. But these days, it’s usually just my husband and I eating meals, so I preserve smaller amounts instead.
