Run Archiware Pure on NAS Devices

Archiware Pure can be deployed in 5 minutes or less either as a ready-made virtual appliance, installed on a virtual or physical Linux host or as an application on one of our partner NAS boxes.

Pure is certified to run on NAS devices from Synology, QNAP and NETGEAR. The application is available on the respective NAS application stores for direct download to your NAS device. The latest version can always be dowloaded directly from Archiware website.

Transfer to Cloud Storage using a Backblaze B2 Fireball

Archiware P5 enables large datasets to be archived to cloud storage. This is achieved by first obtaining a disk storage device from the cloud provider for archiving locally across your LAN. Once archiving is completed, this device is shipped back to the cloud storage provider.

In this blog article, we provide a detailed look at using the Backblaze B2 Fireball device to quickly transfer data up into the cloud.

The Archiware Portal

The Archiware Portal facilitates all tasks concerning Archiware license management. Potential customers wishing to test P5 require the Portal to register their trial license. Customers running a P5 installation use it for software upgrades and expansions, checking their maintenance status, and many other tasks. Resellers servicing Archiware customers can implement it for professional customer care.

Using the Archiware Portal takes place online: from applying for a license key, to managing software maintenance contracts and requesting a quote for a customer installation.
