Dear subscriber, Welcome the latest edition of the Health Protection Report. HPR is a national public health bulletin for England and Wales, published by the UK Health Security Agency. UKHSA annual conference, Leeds 18-19 October 2022 The UKHSA has published the main programme and registration information for its first national conference, being held in Leeds on 18-19 October, comprising more than 40 plenary and parallel sessions, and 10 oral poster presentation sessions. Nine parallel sessions are exclusively dedicated to the retrospective analysis and review of the COVID-19 pandemic. The COVID-19 sessions include presentations on: the results of latest completed analyses of vaccine effectiveness and safety; on the epidemiology of the initial waves; also, on the role of genomics and contact tracing in monitoring virus spread and lessons learned relating to interventions, inequalities and the wider impacts of the pandemic on public health.For access to available abstracts, click on the links below.
