| HSEâs Asbestos and You campaign urges tradespeople working in construction to be aware of disturbing asbestos. Find out if you know enough to protect yourself and others from exposure to asbestos fibres by taking the Asbestos and You quick quiz.  You can share your results with others on social media and with those you work with to see how they do. Last month we held a webinar in partnership with The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). This webinar is now available to watch for free on YouTube when itâs convenient to you.  From the 1-hour long webinar youâll get an understanding of HSEâs Asbestos and You campaign and hear from experts who discuss the risks that continue to be associated with asbestos, particularly with younger workers. Speakers include: Louise Hosking, IOSHâs Immediate Past President as chair Archie Mitchell, HSE Head of Asbestos Unit for Building Safety & Construction Division Liam Bradley from Bauder Ltd, who shares his experience of living with pleural mesothelioma, a cancer caused by asbestos exposure Nathanael Challacombe of the IOSH Construction Group Help raise awareness that asbestos didnât disappear when it was banned in the UK and remains in places that you might not expect.
