14 and 15 February 2024 Under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, concerning the placing of plant protection products on the market, applicants are required to demonstrate acceptable risk from plant protection products to operators, residents, bystanders and workers. This workshop will be delivered over two morning sessions and aims to take participants through non-dietary exposure risk assessments for GB and NI plant protection product authorisations, identifying the approaches that applicants need to follow using the 2022 European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) Exposure Guidance. This guidance was implemented for NI assessments from 1 January 2023 and has been adopted for GB assessments from 1 January 2024. The course will be a mixture of presentations and worked examples and will be delivered by HSE regulatory scientists directly involved in this area of the authorisation process. Who should attend?
