A Message From the Editor

Good morning. HSF Kramer says it plans to move quickly to boost its head count in the U.S. now that its merger is complete. Also, Willkie has launched an office in Hamburg, its third in Germany. And Simpson Thacher has created new global practice leadership roles, naming two partners as global practice heads in private equity and asset management. Also, in a case brought by a legal advocacy group, a U.S. judge has blocked efforts by the Trump administration to dismantle a U.S. government agency created and funded by Congress to promote economic development in Africa.
