Police arrested the boy's father, Marlin D. Williams Jr., in the child abuse case last week. (Jan. 17, 2020) A Wichita man has been charged with murder in the death of his infant son. Prosecutors added the first-degree murder charge against Marlin D. Williams Jr. in Sedgwick County District Court on Wednesday after his son died last week. Williams was previously charged with aggravated battery for injuries to his twin 2-month-old children. Wichita police said one child, Marrell Williams, died Thursday after languishing for about a week in a hospital. Williams, 22, was arrested by Wichita police after officers were called Jan. 10 to a home in the 2800 block of South Emporia for a child who was not breathing. Police found a 2- month-old boy Marrell and he was taken to a hospital, where medical personnel found that he had critical internal injuries. Investigators determined he had both new and old injuries. Police have not disclosed exactly what happened to him, other than to suggest he was beaten. Prosecutors allege that Marrell was killed in the commission of aggravated endangerment of a child. Dates listed in court documents state that the old injuries to his body were sustained sometime between Dec. 10 and Jan. 1 and the new ones on Jan. 10. Investigators also found that Marrells twin sister had a healing broken femur. The babys leg bone was broken sometime between Christmas and New Years, according to dates in court documents. The dad remains held in the Sedgwick County Jail in lieu of a $500,000 bond. DearWebby's Tech Support Pits From: Donnie Re: Vista Print Dear Webby, #1 re: Amy's business cards .. I have been well treated at Vista Print, on line, for my printing needs. 250 cards for ten dollars. Their other printed products are good and customer service is great. #2 re: Voting .... I still can't get a reply from Ezine. Dear Donnie #1 I have had good results with Vista Print in the past. If you don't need the cards within 2 hours, then they are definitely a good deal. #2 I don't know what the problem is at Ezinefinder / Cumuli / Thriftyfun. I have written them lots of times and even used their kinky online form. Some people suggested that they don't answer me because they are fanatic Dementocrats, others suggest they don't answer me because they are fanatic Women's Libbers. Try to get a Democrat female to write to them to see if they are still alive and out of jail. Have FUN! DearWebby Automatically move ALL your settings and programs. One day, farmer Jones was in town picking up supplies for his farm. He stopped by the hardware store and picked up a bucket and an anvil, then stopped by the livestock dealer to buy a couple of chickens and a goose. Now he had a problem: how to carry all of his purchases home. The livestock dealer said, "Why don't you put the anvil in the bucket, carry the bucket in one hand, put a chicken under each arm and carry the goose in your other hand?" "Hey, thanks!" the farmer said, and off he went. While walking he met a fair young lady. She told him she was lost, and asked, "Can you tell me how to get to 5 Bird Lane?" The farmer said, "Well, as a matter of fact, I could go visit my brother at 16 Bird Lane. Let's take a short cut and go down this alley. We'll save half the time to get there". The fair young lady said, "How do I know that when we get in to the alley you won't hold me up against the wall, pull down my skirt and ravish me?" The farmer said, "I am carrying a bucket, an anvil, 2 chickens, and a goose. How in the world could I possibly hold you up against the wall and do that?" The young lady said, "That's easy! Set the goose down, put the bucket over the goose, put the anvil on top of the bucket, and I'll hold the silly chickens!"
