Our thought leader for this session is John Hairston, interim administrator and chief executive officer of the Bonneville Power Administration, which markets wholesale electrical power from 31 federal hydroelectric projects, one nonfederal nuclear project and several small nonfederal power plants in the U.S. Pacific Northwest. |

The 7th Annual Turbine Runner 5K The 7th Annual Turbine Runner 5K will be a fun run, race or walk, on a route of your choice. Run independently or with a team from your company while raising funds to support the Hydropower Foundation's mission. Participants will be able to choose when they can run between Monday, November 16th through Friday, November 20th coinciding with HYDROVISION Exchange. Medals will be awarded for top Male, Female and Company team.

Waterpower Hydro Basics Course Heres everything you need to know to get started in hydroand a perfect refresher course for veterans! This intensive, highly practical training is designed to help persons new to hydro be more productive more quickly and to help persons with limited hydro experience expand their knowledge. Who should attend? Individuals new to hydro, both new hires and experienced professionals moving into hydro or those who want to expand their areas of expertise. During our Hydro+ event in July, 90% of attendees rated this session good or excellent and 84% of attendees rated this speaker good or excellent.

Women with Hydro Vision Women have made valuable contributions to hydroelectric power globally, and this session shines a light on their achievements and the need to continue encouraging women to join this dynamic industry. During this program, Angela Thompkins, vice president and chief diversity officer with CMS Energy, will speak about the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion and her companys efforts to improve its DEI results. We also will introduce the winner of the 2020 Julie Keil scholarship for women and learn about the Women in Hydropower mentorship program.
