James Finn has the story of a 25-year-old Baton Rouge woman who missed a trial date along with her mother when she was 16 and the two were seeking asylum. She was taken into custody while checking in on her case this week, leaving her husband and 9-week-old daughter behind. Big night: Jefferson Parish is celebrating its 200th birthday, and crews are busy converting the Lakeside Mall into the "biggest ballroom in Louisiana." Lara Nicholson has the story.
