Picasso, Hemingway, van Gogh—these are the names associated with Moleskine notebooks, with their classic curved corners and ivory pages. But in the 21st century, Moleskine needed an updated website to showcase its myriad products, both digital and paper, sold throughout the world. And Moleskine wanted to ensure that the new website blended state-of-the-art ecommerce functionality with the brand’s storied history and unique personality.

Key to success was starting the project with a solid plan. Gaia Franceschini, the company’s head of digital, ecommerce, and CRM, shares three tips for getting a website redesign on the right track and the reasons why Moleskine chose Oracle Commerce Cloud and Oracle Responsys for the project.
