Njideka Aginam, PharmD Candidate, South College School of Pharmacy, has been looking for solutions for weight loss for diabetes patients. He found many methods based on food choices and the times we eat. Most of these studies are done by someone trying to drive you to a program that will sell their product. But when he looked at a recent study from JAMA that focused on intermittent fasting, he found some results that were hard to dispute for reducing insulin resistance, suppressing oxidative stress, and increasing cellular repair.
