VIDEO: 4 firefighters taken to hospital after fire truck overturns in Indianapolis PHOTOS: Four firefighters were transported to the hospital after their fire truck overturned Saturday morning. Police reported to a crash on the intersection of East 30th Street and North Hawthorne Lane just before 11:30 a.m. Aug. 3. IFD Battalion Chief Rita Reith told 13News that the firefighters were heading to a nearby fatal crash on Massachusetts Avenue and East 30th Street when their truck overturned. According to IFD, two firetrucks were attempting to maneuver around slowed traffic and a "wide load" that was being escorted by Indiana State Police officers. One firetruck was successful, but the other was not. It was a scene where IFD firefighters had to rescue their own. "It was tragic," witness John Galada said. "It skipped and went sideways and flipped over on its side and rolled over to its back." WTHR-TV NBC 13 INDIANAPOLIS Shot fired at Colorado ambulance by man who ran out of burning house PHOTOS: A 34-year-old Colorado man recovering in a hospital will be charged with arson and attempted murder once doctors conclude treatment and hand him over to authorities. The yet-unidentified man was taken into custody Friday afternoon after firing a round from a handgun into the windshield of an ambulance. The trajectory of the bullet was altered and the three people inside the Falck Rocky Mountain ambulance were not injured. "I've been a paramedic for 30 years," Falck Regional Managing Director David Patterson said Saturday, "and the level of 'close call' here is remarkable....(It was) the nearest of misses." At the time of the gunshot, the ambulance was in motion, pulling up to the scene of a house fire with residents standing nearby, Patterson said. CBS NEWS Plane makes emergency landing at California golf course, crashes into pro shop VIDEO: A small plane made an emergency crash landing on the golf course at Haggin Oaks on Sunday, coming to rest at the pro shop, the Sacramento Fire Department said. The pilot walked away with a minor cut to his hand. No one else was hurt. The Sacramento Fire Department said it responded to a report of a plane crashing into a building at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex after 1 p.m. Capt. Justin Sylvia with Sac Fire said the pilot had just taken off from McClellan Airfield. At about 400 feet altitude, the pilot's engine shut down and he had to look for a safe place to land. The pilot saw the golf course and brought it down with a belly landing. The plane skidded off grass, into pavement and then came to rest against the pro shop. "He knew that he was not going to make it back to the airport," Sylvia said. KCRA-TV NBC 3 SACRAMENTO Baseus power bank that caused Michigan house fire recalled across U.S. VIDEO/PHOTO: After a wireless phone charger from Baseus caught fire in Farmington Hills last February, a nationwide investigation was launched. As a result, approximately 132,000 Baseus Magnetic Wireless Charging Power Banks have been recalled across the United States as of June 27. "The lithium-ion battery in the power banks can overheat, posing a fire hazard," according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The battery fire in Farmington Hills that eventually led to the recall was intense but small. "The homeowner heard his power bank hissing and saw it burst into flames," according to a news release from the city. "Though the fire was out when crews arrived and caused minimal damage and no injuries, Farmington Hills Fire Marshal Jason Baloga wanted to investigate further."
