Release: P5 Software Suite Version 5.5

Important Notice: Release Date Change

Due to delays in language localization of P5,  we have changed the release date of our new P5 Software Suite version 5.5 to August 22nd. The announced features for P5 version 5.5 remain the same:

• Backup to the Cloud for P5 Backup (for all platforms)
• Client-to-Client sync option for P5 Synchronize
• Choice between two archiving modes for the Cloud: ​
  – Pool-Format: established, flexible features (cloning, migration, etc.)​​
  – Object-Format: single-file access & shareability for cooperative workflows
• Amazon S3 and Glacier, generic S3 and BackBlaze (B2) support for P5 Archive
• Automatic backup of Archive indexes
• Support for Archive to the Cloud for Windows, FreeBSD and Linux (in addition to already supported macOS X)
• Additional features and functionalities in the CLI (preview, clip handling, sorting and identifying cloned volume sets)

Archiware P5 version 5.5 will be available for download on our website on August 22nd. Please read our Release Notes for further changes and updates on planned features.
