ST. JOAN OF ARC - PEWTER FINISH This striking statue of St. Joan of Arc is made of resin with a pewter style finish and golden highlights to enhance the dynamics. It measures 10 1/2"L x 12 1/4"H x 4"D. Saint Joan was born in 1412 in Domremy, France. At a young age Joan began hearing the voices of St. Michael, St. Catherine and St. Margaret. When she was 16 these holy companions told her to go to the King of France and help him reconquer his kingdom. At the age of 17, Joan was given a small army with which she raised the siege of Orleans on May 8, 1429; St. Joan suffered much in her short life of 19 years (see item #2682).
