| June 21, 2019 Minnesotans clocked more than 130 million hours of volunteering in 2018. But volunteers are changing. Older Minnesotans are aging out — they were the heavy hitters who volunteered every week for hours at the same organization. And millennials are different. They want one-time projects they can do in a few hours with their families and colleagues.
