Almost a decade after Lizzy Caplan landed a plum role in the 2004 cult favorite comedy “Mean Girls,” she put down some stylish real estate roots in the picturesque hills above L.A.’s Bronson Canyon. The circa 1961 Hollywood Hills home, which has just popped onto the market at $2.85 million—it’s alternatively available as a rental at $15,000 per month—is arranged around an atrium bursting with lush greenery. Most rooms within the modestly sized 2,100-square-foot abode spill onto a terrace that surrounds a pill-shaped swimming pool. A nearby deck with cushioned banquette seating offers a peek-a-boo view of the Hollywood Sign.
