| Good morning!
Welcome to Sunday Scoop, waking you up with the best reads from the Sunday New York Post. Earlier this year, Harvey Weinstein began serving a 23-year sentence for sexual assault and rape, after more than 100 women including Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and Ashley Judd accused him of harassment and other horrific deeds. But he may have found the one woman in New York City who thinks he's been given a bum rap. Meet Alexandra Vino, an artist and Weinstein's rumored paramour, who told us: "Everyone seems to hate Harvey but they don’t realize they don’t really hate Harvey. They are being told how to feel. He is a scapegoat for this entire [#MeToo] movement and they’ve destroyed his life. It’s been like a human sacrifice." Read the full interview below. Meanwhile, a new book reveals the smash-hit show “Game of Thrones” almost never happened, because cataclysmic weather destroyed sets during the pilot and the original actress cast to play the Mother of Dragons “just didn't work.” Find out how producers finally made the kingdoms come alive with our behind-the-scenes piece. There's lots more in our weekly roundup, including Maureen Callahan's must-read take on real-life royals Meghan and Harry. Thanks for joining us — and have a super Sunday.
