Dear Yogi, Our overall health and well-being are strongly dependent on a good night's sleep; vital processes occur when we’re asleep that are necessary for our survival and thriving. Unfortunately, it’s becoming increasingly hard to switch off – not only from work but also play. As we plug into social networks, play computer games or do high-impact workouts, our leisure activities have become as stressful (or at least as stimulating) as our work. Many of us are sleep-deprived these days and don’t even know it… Yoga and breathwork can help calm the nervous system and lower cortisol levels so your body and mind can wind down before bed.
