The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam (Department of Foreign Affairs for Provinces) in collaboration with Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province and European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) will organize “EVFTA - Trade and Investment opportunities for Ba Ria - Vung Tau province” Conference on August 2nd, 2019 in Vung Tau city (agenda attached herewith). In attendance, the Vietnamese delegates will consist of Ministry of Foreign Affairs leader; leaders, provincial departments’ representatives and businesses from Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. In addition, the Conference will also host Consul Generals, Heads of Economic - Trade Sections representing European countries; EuroCham Viet Nam Executive Committee; and representatives from chambers, business associations, and European businesses.
The Conference is for the Ba Ria – Vung Tau area to promote the potentials, strengths and priorities in economic and investment cooperation with European partners in the context of the EVFTA being signed recently. In addition, European businesses can connect with Ba Ria - Vung Tau government and businesses, discuss matters of mutual interest and explore cooperation opportunities. On this occasion, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs leader looks forward to receiving insights, exchanging ideas and orientations on further cooperation, especially economic cooperation, between European partners and provinces in southern Viet Nam.
