Episode 1:
Central and Eastern Europe
Launching our new discussion series with IIR Prague, this event explores the role of think tanks in international politics. We will unpack the concept of “think tanks”, their impact in different parts of Central and Eastern Europe, as well as their relations with elites, governments, and civil society. With scholars working on and for think tanks, we will explore how these institutions matter in processes of Europeanization and democratization, but also in anti-EU movements and authoritarian politics.
