MEDIA ACCESS
All IOC press conferences and daily press briefings prior to and during Paris 2024 will be held at the Main Press Centre (MPC), which can be accessed by accredited media representatives only. No registration is required, and seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
For operational reasons, media representatives who wish to meet and interview IOC Members will have the opportunity to do so in a dedicated interview room located in the building across from the OFH. This interview room can be accessed through prior agreement with the IOC Press Office team. Due to the limited public space, it will not be possible for media to meet IOC Members in the OFH.
IOC Executive Board meeting
As per standard practice, the IOC EB meeting is closed to the media.
There will be an agency photo and moving images pool at the start of the IOC EB meeting for the opening remarks. Due to space constraints and access regulations, only a very limited number of media representatives will be granted entry by invitation.
The press conference following the IOC EB meeting will take place at 4 p.m.* CEST on 20 July in the La Seine room at the MPC, and can also be followed on the IOC Media YouTube channel.
IOC Session meeting
The Opening Ceremony of the 142nd IOC Session will take place at the Louis Vuitton Fondation, and the IOC has set up a very limited space for the media, with access by invitation. The ceremony will be available via closed-circuit TV at the MPC and on the IOC Media YouTube channel.
The proceedings of the 142nd IOC Session will take place at the Palais des Congrès de Paris and will be available via closed-circuit TV at the MPC and on the IOC Media YouTube channel.
There will be a photo opportunity with very limited capacity at the start of each day of the IOC Session. Any interested photographer/camera operator must sign up by midday on Monday 22 July at the IOC Media Operations office at the MPC (level 2, room 241).
The press conferences following the IOC Session meeting will take place on both days, 23 and 24 July, at 7 p.m.* and 4.30 p.m.* CEST respectively, in the La Seine room at the MPC. They will also be available on the IOC Media YouTube channel.
