Orphans defy rain, tour Annapolis area
Despite the threat of rain, the 27th annual Orphan Car Tour took place under partly sunny skies on Saturday, June 4 in the vicinity of Annapolis, Md. Shortly before noon on that day 28 cars ranging in vintage from 1941 to 1981 (with one late-model S.U.V. sneaking in) left the Annapolis Moose Lodge and embarked – one by one – onto a four-hour afternoon odyssey over the suburban and country roads of Anne Arundel County. Keeneland Concours set for July 16
LEXINGTON, Ky. - The 2016 edition of the Keeneland Concours d'Elegance celebrates Chrysler cars, and features more than 120 collector cars and motorcycles, 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Saturday, July 16 at the Keene Barn Entertainment Center at the historic Keeneland thoroughbred race track.
The Concours features cars from 1908 through 2016, as well as motorcycles from 1915 through 1964. The featured class is Chrysler cars through the ages. There's also a group of Winged Warriors, the Dodge Daytonas and Plymouth Superbirds that dominated NASCAR racing in the early 1970s

| Road Race Lincoln coming to Lincoln Heritage Museum
HICKORY CORNERS, Mich. _ The only known surviving "Road Race Lincoln," a 1954 Lincoln Capri that took first place in the 1954 Carrera Panamericana race, will be on display at the Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum from July 15 through Sept. 15.
The car, which finished first in the Big Stock Car class, is on loan from the National Automobile Museum/Harrah Collection, where it is part of the museum's permanent collection.
The 1954 Lincoln will be the highlight of the second annual Lincoln Homecoming event held August 10-14 at the museum, which is located on the Gilmore Car Museum campus in Hickory Corners, Mich. The weekend events will include an exhibition of Lincolns on Aug. 13, preceded by tours and other events on Aug. 11-12.
