Detained woman released: The 47-year New Orleans resident arrested by federal immigration agents outside of her Lakeview home has been released. James Finn has the story.
Wreckage discovered: The USS New Orleans had its bow blown off by a Japanese torpedo during a World War II battle in 1942 but still managed to get to an Australian port in reverse. Now the wrecked bow has been found. Mark Ballard has the details.
By design: Jefferson Parish leaders are establishing a design district in Old Jefferson in hopes of attracting more arts, culture and interior design stores. Lara Nicholson has this report.
