Team Clark Survey Results! Travel can create wonderful memories. This week, we asked you to share some of your favorite vacation experiences. Here are a few responses that we received: Van in Georgia: "In 1998, my late wife and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Kentucky Derby in Louisville. Those folks know how to put on a party!" Jim in Ohio: "As a child, I spent two weeks in the Southwest spending most of the time in a tent in Flagstaff, Arizona. The last few days I spent driving by the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas and then Anaheim for Knott's Berry Farm and Disneyland." Scott in Florida: "I'm 76 years old and I've traveled internationally on many occasions. But my favorite vacations were simple short visits to Disney World when my children were young. We spent very little money for the precious time we spent as a family and the wonderful memories I have today." Dotty in Georgia: "Cross country in our station wagon with the boys ages 13 and 11 for 33 days. We stayed mostly in inexpensive hotels but we camped in national parks. We still talk about it 37 years later." Matt in Virginia: "The summer after graduating college, my roommate and I each took $700 and spent a month touring every state West of the Mississippi. We ate hot dogs, canned beans and camped outside every national park we could. I would do it again in a heartbeat, but I'd make sure to stop for more than just the one shower." |
