| Hello Island Daily Deals Subscribers,
We have received many enquiries about deals we have recently run. Unfortunately, due to the social distancing measures we, along with many of our merchants, have had to make some difficult decisions regarding these promotions. This has included taking some deals down from the site early as they do not meet the social distancing standards put in place by the government.
Due to the uncertain nature of the current situation we face, we have elected not to keep any deal on our site that does not meet these standards. Any deal that requires close contact with the customer or encourages people to leave their homes unnecessarily will be postponed until a later time.
While many of our merchants have been very generous and have agreed to extend the expiry date of their vouchers until they can be used again, others have had to cancel their deals. We have been busy answering these enquiries and processing these refunds, and we will continue to do so.
To those who are concerned about their unexpired vouchers, please reach out to us and we can advise you on a case-by-case basis.
Merchants that have agreed to extend their vouchers thus far are:
-The Cabins at Terrace Beach (extended to 2021, please call them for more details)
-Stoltz Bluff Eco Resort (extended to May 2021)
-The Oceanfront Hotel (providing "rain checks", please contact them directly)
-The View Oceanside Grill (will set new expiry once they re-open)
-Da Tang Chinese Restaurant (will set new expiry once dining room is re-opened)
-Action Ultralights (extended to June 30 2020, will extend again if necessary)
-Island Healing (extended to April/May 2020, will extend again if necessary)
-Absolutely Brilliant Carpet Cleaning (will set new expiry once social distancing is lifted, please call them for more details)
-Renee’s Outdoor Massage Studio (extended to July 2020, will extend again if necessary)
-The Edge Hair Design (will set a new expiry once they have re-opened)
-CJ Martial Arts (set for weekend after they re-open, please like their facebook page to stay updated)
-Laird Wheaton GM (will set new expiry once social distancing measures are lifted)
