ISRAEL'S PROACTIVE STRIKE AGAINST GLOBAL TERROR
Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, recently disclosed its strategy of preventing a planned terrorist attack in Cyprus, which involved the daring abduction of the plot's mastermind, Yusef Shahabazi Abbasalilu, from Iranian territory. The suspect divulged critical details about the operation during interrogation, including the identities of his co-conspirators and their plans. This information was passed on to Cypriot authorities, leading to the arrest of most members of the terror cell. The thwarted plot targeted Jewish individuals and locations frequented by Israelis in Cyprus. This is one of several instances where Mossad's proactive actions have disrupted terror plots against Israelis abroad, affirming their commitment to combating global terror and protecting Israeli and Jewish targets worldwide.

NEW INSIGHTS INTO THE KINGDOM OF JUDAH
A new study from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HU) suggests the Kingdom of Judah expanded earlier than previously believed, reaching into the northern Shefela (lowlands) as early as the 10th century BCE. The research examines five ancient fortified sites that reveal significant insights into the urbanization process, urban planning, and borders of the Kingdom. These sites were all fortified with casemate city walls, and located on the kingdom border and on a main road leading into the kingdom. Radiometric dating confirmed that some of these cities date back to the era of King David, indicating a strong kingdom capable of building well-planned cities on its borders. The discovery of a barrier wall also provides tangible evidence supporting biblical accounts of the Kingdom's expansion.

| VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT RACHELI TASSA | FEED ISRAEL VOLUNTEER | JERUSALEM "Volunteering with Feed Israel has become a passion of mine in my 40s. It all started when I attended a local event where I learned about the organization's mission to fight hunger and provide support to vulnerable communities. I felt an instant connection to their cause and knew I wanted to get involved. Being a part of Feed Israel has given me a renewed sense of purpose and a way to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. Through volunteering, I have met incredible individuals who share the same values and dedication to helping others. Together, we pack and distribute food, organize fundraising events, and create awareness about the importance of fighting hunger. It's a constant reminder that it's never too late to start giving back and that every act of kindness matters. Volunteering with Feed Israel has been a transformative journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in my community." |
