| Hello. After an Israeli strike targeted the Iranian state broadcaster in Tehran, our chief international correspondent Lyse Doucet looks at Tel Aviv's goals in the intensifying conflict. From Spain, we hear what troubles local residents about mass tourism. And finally, a rare Welsh translation of a 16th Century Bible goes on display in Wales for the first time. | |

TOP OF THE AGENDA | Where is Israel's operation heading? |
|
| | The Iranian state TV said that “a number” of its staff were killed in an Israeli strike. Credit: Islamic Republic of Iran News Network | The Islamic Republic of Iran News Network has resumed broadcasting live after an Israeli strike hit its headquarters. Footage showed an anchor running for cover as debris fell following an explosion. The Israeli army said the broadcaster was being used for military purposes. Israel has said its military operation was meant to "remove" the threat of Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programmes. As Lyse Doucet notes, the initial list of targets, including military bases, missile launch pads and factories, is now widening, while Iran is also hitting back. As civilian casualties mount in both countries, questions over Israel's goals in the conflict, and whether it can achieve them, abound. |

| Pushing back on mass tourism | | Spain is expecting more tourists this summer than ever. Credit: Getty Images | Protesters against mass tourism walked through the streets of Barcelona on Sunday. Some were using water pistols to squirt people in tourist hot-spots. At the root of their frustration is a rental housing market that they feel has become increasingly unaffordable for locals. |

|
| | In a narrow, paved street of the Gothic quarter, right in the tourist heart of Barcelona, Joan Alvarez is fighting to hold on to the flat his family have rented for 25 years, and at a price he can afford. His landlord has terminated the contract, but Joan refuses to leave. "This is central Barcelona and there's hardly any of us residents left. It shouldn't be like that."
Under pressure from the protests, the authorities in Barcelona have already taken the radical step of announcing a complete ban on short-term rentals to tourists from 2028. Jesus Pereda, who owns two popular tourist flats not far from the Sagrada Familia, thinks that's the wrong response. Managing the flats is his job, providing an income for himself and his wife. "Now we have anxiety." |

And finally... in Wales | A rare copy of the first complete translation of the Bible into Welsh is due to go on display in Wales for the first time. Translated in 1588, during the rein of Elizabeth I, it was created as part of an effort to bring scriptures to people in languages they understood - but this copy was only used in service once. Take a look. | |
