| Within three years, we lost two pregnancies, experienced three failed adoptions and welcomed two incredible children into our lives. It was easy to look back during the roughest of waters and wonder why, or if there truly was ever a way out. Sitting here now, holding all four of our children, every tough moment makes sense. Every “not yet” was direction, every day passed was just one day closer, and every ounce of heartache molded us into the people we needed to be for them. Turns out, we’ve always been right where we needed to be. Even if we had to go through twice as much, these four would always be worth reaching the other side. It was always you.
