| Berlin is the first City State of Germany which has recently declared the International Women’s Day as a National Holiday. At ITB Berlin we focus on supporting women for many years. We will again be honoring outstanding achievements with the Celebrating Her Awards and focusing on key themes including a UNWTO Reception on Gender Equality, numerous women speakers and panel guests and a seminar featuring inspiring international tourism projects organized by women. Trade business will not be affected but please keep in mind, that due to the decision shops will be closed in Berlin during Friday, 8 March.
