Good evening,

Good evening,

As Magellan Financial Group’s new boss said he would be “patient” with a stake in Barrenjoey Capital Partners, there’s movement at the top of Australia’s other new and much-talked about investment bank.

Jarden Australia going through its first leadership change with Robbie Vanderzeil handing management responsibilities to Sarah Rennie and Aidan Allen and stepping into the chairman’s seat.

Vanderzeil played a big part in setting up Jarden Australia - and isn’t done yet. Most recently, he’s said to have played a big hand in hiring ex-Unisuper duo Mark Hampoo and Simon Hudson and helping them go after the big super crowd, and we doubt he’ll let that chase go. Capital markets is his home ground, after all.

Elsewhere, we’ve found a new wine sale out of New Zealand, and have stock picks from Caledonia (Private) Investments in case their investors are still listening!

Happy reading,

Anthony Macdonald, Sarah Thompson and Kanika Sood
