Even if Donald Trump turns out not to be such a great president, which I don't think is the case, I think he's going to surround himself with really good people, but even if he didn't, we're only looking at four years as opposed to multiple generations and perhaps the loss of the American dream forever.

rantnrave:// I've worked directly in or around video for most of my professional life: MTV NETWORKS, SLINGBOX, ECHOSTAR, NEWS CORP, MGM, SUNDANCE, etc. Even closer in my personal life. Televison, movies, online video. Love it all. Creatively and with the audience, video is on fire. Business models are in flux. It's a wild, exciting ride. Today we’re releasing the final part of our REDEF MEDIA ORIGINAL series on the future of video and HOLLYWOOD. PART ONE shows that today’s system is broken. PART TWO explains the four models of video providers in the digital era. Today's media empires were built through constant reinvention, reinvestment and risk taking. If Big Media wants to thrive in the digital era, it needs to remember its past and move beyond its present. This means reframing priorities, actively pushing audiences online and fully embracing category experimentation. PART THREE is a call to action: BY OBSESSING OVER THE PRESENT, BIG MEDIA HAS FORGOTTEN ITS PAST AND ENDANGERED ITS FUTURE (BUT IT’S NOT TOO LATE). Read, debate and enjoy... Very cool: To intercept eclipse, ALASKA AIRLINES adjusts flight plan to delight astronomers... I'm not a journalist. End of story... Support CYCLE FOR SURVIVAL. 100% of your donations funds critical cancer research. Supporting KASS & MICHAEL LAZEROW's team. DONATE HERE. I did. In memory of my MOM... "HAMILTON" and OBAMA freestyle... I can tell when you press ignore or decline. I can especially tell if I pay you... BRUTUS had his reasons... BILL CLINTON... Support is material assistance... Today's media empires were built through constant reinvention, reinvestment and risk taking. If Big Media wants to thrive in the digital era, it needs to remember its past and move beyond its present. This means reframing priorities, actively pushing audiences online and fully embracing category experimentation. It's not too late, but time is running out.
