| rantnrave:// Many times over the last year I've raved about ALEX GIBNEY's cyber war doc, ZERO DAYS. Many of us thought that digital destruction would never lead to real world destruction. We were 100% wrong. It's happening and there may be no going back. Months ago a vicious troll sent journalist KURT EICHENWALD, who has epilepsy, a tweet with a GIF that caused a seizure. On Friday, the FBI said it had arrested and charged him with criminal cyberstalking with the intent to kill or cause bodily harm. So chilling. Glad Kurt is ok after a long ordeal and proud the FBI understands the severity of this new criminal arena... TRUMP's eye contact and posture when speaking about stuff he knows almost nothing about (a regular occurrence) is a poker shark's dream. I wake up in the morning and turn on CNN, rub my eyes and the lower third still says stuff that used to be the exclusive domain of comedies or thrillers. Apologies to the world for thrusting him upon you due to greed, lies, bigotry, actual frustration, desperation, and god knows what else. We all have to suffer because 60 years ago someone didn't pick him for kickball or his parents whiffed it. We'll do the right thing at some point but likely not before he destroys the EPA and the NEA. Kills after school programs. Healthcare too. Threatens the 4th ESTATE. Profiles and hassles people based on race and religion. Gives the world to CHINA. And s***cans our role as leader (moral and otherwise) of the free world. MARK CUBAN calls him the ZOOLANDER President. I call him the Mean President. As WINSTON CHURCHILL once said: "You can always count on the Americans to do the right thing after they have tried everything else"... When NIKE swoops in on the active apparel market for Muslim women, there will be opinions. Some see the Pro-Hijab as a meaningful move toward inclusivity. Others see problematic connections to Nike's supply chain and its drive for profits. REDEF FashionSET: "PRO/CON: Nike's Pro-Hijab"... Most online publishing sites don't understand the value of re-runs. Not just archives, but promoting older content. From a week ago to years ago. These sites feed the stream monster but users miss a lot of great stuff as it gets pushed down and vanishes into search results. And have you noticed how the quality of search on independent sites has deteriorated over the past decade? Sometimes direct matches only work!... My friend DANIEL EK is very proud of his wife SOFIA's first book, MINEFIELD GIRL, "about her experiences being a young western woman living and doing business in a dictatorship. It's a story on how she got to know the Khadaffis, it's a story of love and hustle in a land where nothing is what it appears to be"...
