I see the world being slowly transformed into a wilderness; I hear the approaching thunder that, one day, will destroy us too. I feel the suffering of millions. And yet, when I look up at the sky, I somehow feel that everything will change for the better, that this cruelty too shall end, that peace and tranquility will return once more.

Robert De Niro as 'Travis Bickle' in "Taxi Driver" (1976) (Columbia Pictures)
Wednesday - November 16, 2016 Wed - 11/16/16
rantnrave:// Maybe TRAVIS BICKLE was looking at AMERICA and not an XXX film... What does the OVAL OFFICE do to the person that sits in it?... Amongst my many issues with politics, there never seems to be an iterative approach to policies or programs these days. In media and technology, you come up with your idea. You plan. You execute. Then you augment and course correct. Not getting it perfect is assumed but you evolve and refine. In politics, one weak idea or schema and the entire thing is condemned to die... No, not all politicians are corrupt. The entire system isn't broken. And some of the media does a good job... Media companies will face a hostile Presidency. I hope they stand their ground and don't give into regulatory fear, especially those with news assets. THE 4TH ESTATE must do their jobs and regain our trust for us to survive. My great fear? Some GOP leaders will want to stand up to evil but will be too afraid of the new President's top advisor... How do you fight information terrorists and still maintain your platform?... GERMANY, 1932... Went to my first LAKERS game... My new MACBOOK PRO is a beautiful device. But WTF with the trackpad clicking noise?... We’re past the point of debating whether Esports is “here” or not. It’s time to take a look why and how virtual sports games will drive the next phase of growth of this global phenomenon. REDEF SportsORIGINAL: "Why Virtual Sports Games Will Drive the Next Wave of Growth for Esports"...
