What I mean by anxiety condition is not nervousness or fear of the game. I have an obsession with the game. It's an unhealthy obsession right now. | | The Young Bucks. | rantnrave:// There’s a scandal budding at MOREHEAD STATE. It’s not headline news yet, and maybe it won’t be since the EAGLES men’s basketball program and the OHIO VALLEY CONFERENCE are rarely relevant nationally but hopefully this can help curb the bully coach. SEAN WOODS has been charged with battery for allegedly striking and shoving his players, after being suspended by the school last month. This isn't the first incident for Woods. He was suspended four years ago for berating and pushing his own player, and he allegedly head-butted a player last season with no penalty. For some reason, the fire-breathing and physical dictatorial coach is still popular but every new reprimand can hopefully serve as a deterrent. If Woods becomes the next MIKE RICE, who was fired and exiled, and not WOODY HAYES, who maintains legendary status, then it can be a lesson for future coaches who straddle that line between enthusiasm and aggression… Another HALL OF FAME voter says he won’t vote for CURT SCHILLING. Again, Schilling’s tweet supporting the lynching of journalists is the cause. And again, the reasoning is faulty. Shaping the argument around journalists is not the right tack – and seems self-serving. The moral line Schilling crossed is supporting the lynching of human beings, not journalists. If journalists want to hold that against him then argue it in those terms. It makes it seem like there would be less indignation if Schilling had retweeted a guy wearing a shirt calling for the killing of some other profession or people. In fact, by standing by their HOF vote even as Schilling collected NAZI memorabilia, shared anti-transgender and Islamophobic memes, but finally showing electoral outrage here, that is what they did… TOM BRADY is back as the frontrunner for NFL MVP, which makes this the perfect time for you to read about him in the new REDEF SportsSET: “Tom Brady: The Patriots' Controversial Golden Boy”… Your NIKE shoes might be getting even more expensive… What a coincidence, all of my enemies are jive turkeys too. | | - Mike Vorkunov, curator |
