I gave over 30 speeches about Java this year. And over 100 hours of webinars, some of which were public (Heinz's Happy Hour), others private to support course customers. Always IntelliJ IDEA was there, ready to answer questions. Java geeks seem to enjoy watching me code. Classes and methods appear as if by divination. And yet, 99% of what I do is straight out-of-the-box IntelliJ goodness.

So I thought to myself: Why not produce a mini-course on some of the tips and tricks that I've learned in 14 years of using IntelliJ? Turns out, it's not as mini as I intended it to be. 40 sections and over three hours of lectures. Probably the most comprehensive IntelliJ course on the planet :-)

It's clearly a bug in IntelliJ 2017.3. And it's in the lecture. The lesson is - for any refactoring, you need good unit tests, even if you're flying a space ship like IntelliJ.
