Immigration in Louisiana: Gov. Jeff Landry has ordered state agencies to collect and publish data on immigrants living in Louisiana, Meghan Friedmann reports. The move, which has drawn criticism, appears aimed at bolstering state lawsuits against federal immigration policies. Scalise or Jindal?: U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise, R-Jefferson, and former Gov. Bobby Jindal are being floated by some conservatives as potential vice presidential candidates for former President Donald Trump, Mark Ballard reports.
