Landry's New Orleans committee: The Times-Picayune got the list of people governor-elect Jeff Landry has chosen to advise him on policy regarding New Orleans. The group is mostly White and many live outside of the city, and it includes the biggest funder of the recent effort to recall Mayor LaToya Cantrell. Sam Karlin has the story. Seeking designation: Louisiana has been trying for decades to get a coveted designation from the National Cancer Institute. On Monday, Gov John Bel Edwards and officials from LSU Health, LCMC Health, Tulane University and the Louisiana Cancer Research Center announced a new agreement that should accelerate the state's achievement of that goal.
