New COVID vaccine offers help for variants
| Sept. 2, 2022 At the fair, it was MPR Day and Republican gubernatorial candidate Dr. Scott Jensen and Minnesota Secretary of State DFLer Steve Simon were at Dan Patch Park with our politics team. Many Jensen supporters in the crowd questioned why Gov. Walz has not agreed to a debate against Jensen. This morning, MPR News confirmed it has a debate for Walz and Jensen booked on Oct. 28, just one week before the midterms. Jensen told MPR News' Mike Mulcahy he will not be releasing his tax returns until he is Governor. "Before then, I honestly don't think we can trust the media to stay focused on the issues," he said.
