Cantore says...: Celebrity weather guy Jim Cantore has seen a lot of storms, but Hurricane Beryl’s rapid intensification left him in shock. “If this is early July, I can’t what August and September are going to look like,” he said. Beryl’s uncertainty: Hurricane Beryl continues its march toward the Caribbean. Archdiocese finds bookstore buyer: The Archdiocese of New Orleans has a buyer for the former bookstore it owns on south Carrollton Avenue. Business writer Stephanie Riegel reports that the beloved store could become the new site of a dentist office.
