Yield monitor showed 159 bu,....thankfully there wasn't much of the field left. Despite the terrible start to the year, overall yields were better than expected. I believe that was the case for most in the area. My bins are full, and there are huge corn piles at most every elevator. There are also a lot more bags of crop at the ends of fields. In talking with my agronomist about this, I am certain that part of the reason that those piles exist was that more corn and less beans were planted last spring.
