Accompanying the narration, dancers perform both classical and contemporary ballet, including excerpts from the Nutcracker, ballets inspired by traditional folk dances and even a dance in honor of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo! Performed by Houston Ballet II and Houston Ballet Academy Professional Program dancers, the 45-minute performance is a great introduction to ballet for children ages 8 and under. My First Ballet offers two opportunities to introduce ballet to your little ones! The 11 AM show is autism-friendly, with a modified experience for audience members with neurological differences.
